Of late I have been getting a lot of these questions, I thought I share my knowledge on taking care of them Mbalas, they cost a fortune so we might as well know how to.
Wigs are by far the most easiest to take care of. Reason I say this is because they are removable and you can have the full view on your hands.
Take a comb and run it through the hair (while dry NEVER wet before)
Take a basin of and pour Cold water, add Shampoo and make sure to mix completely and well.
Place the wig in the water and let it soak for 3-5 minutes (longer will not damage)
After apply multiple strokes from the roots to the ends to ensure all hair is clean
Rinse the hair using the same direction to avoid tangling, soap the hair gain and rinse. Then apply conditioner on the hair. Follow the same outward stroke till you are sure all hair has soaked in the conditioner. Tip try avoid the roots.
Rinse the conditioner thoroughly and leave the hair to air dry,(you may add some sta-soft for some fresh smell)
Optional (after the final rinse put conditioner again, add sta-soft after evenly spreading put the hair in a seal bag and leave it overnight)
Rinse and air dry.
Proceed to comb through hair, starting at the ends and work your way up to the base (avoid putting strain on the roots and cap)
You can set it under a hot dryer until dry, or let it naturally air dry overnight.
